Media Sales Representative – Outside Sales

About the role

We are looking for a Media Sales Representative to join our Outside Sales team at 7 Mountains Media. You will promote our full‑suite marketing solutions to local businesses, conducting needs analyses and closing new accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking events and online research.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners and decision‑makers.
• Develop and present tailored marketing proposals that showcase our services.
• Collaborate with creative, content and digital teams to design innovative campaigns.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance objectives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to prospect and use consultative selling techniques.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑service skills.
• Excellent organization, multitasking and time‑management in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective negotiation, closing and persuasive communication abilities.
• Resilience under tight deadlines and financial pressure.
• 2‑4‑year college degree or equivalent sales experience (preferred, not required).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Google products.
• Familiarity with social networking platforms.
