Media Sales Business Specialist

About the role

Seven Mountains Media is looking for a dynamic Media Sales Business Specialist to drive new business and grow existing client relationships. You will work in a consultative selling environment with unlimited earning potential and a flexible, cloud‑based work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and solicit new business through prospecting and cold calling.
• Build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects while supporting client and station promotions.
• Service and grow relationships within the existing client base.
• Develop persuasive proposals that address client/agency needs.
• Deliver creative and effective sales presentations.
• Monitor competition to uncover new account leads.
• Negotiate rates based on inventory pricing.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue.
• Ensure prompt payments and follow company procedures for orders, billing, and reporting.
• Generate revenue while meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Required profile

• Strong prospecting and consultative selling abilities.
• Excellent client‑service and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proven negotiation and closing proficiency.
• Persuasive verbal, written and presentation communication.
• Independent, self‑motivated, competitive and assertive.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and market‑dynamics understanding.
• Stress tolerance, especially under tight deadlines.
• 2‑4‑year college degree or equivalent sales experience preferred but not required.
