Mechanical Designer – Piping Design Specialist

About the role

Jedson Engineering is seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to lead the creation of detailed piping designs for industrial process facilities. The role focuses on delivering accurate, code‑compliant layouts and supporting the overall 3D plant model.

Key responsibilities

• Develop CAD designs of equipment layouts and piping routings using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Coordinate and guide lead designers, ensuring project standards and checklists are applied.
• Maintain and update the 3D plant model, including orthographic and isometric drawings.
• Prepare engineering documentation, bills of materials, and piping support specifications.
• Participate in client meetings as required by the Project Manager.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in piping engineering or design, preferably within an engineering services environment.
• Associate degree in Drafting, Design, or related field.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
