Math Teacher (Grades 4-6) – International School, Jeddah

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher to join an international school in Jeddah. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons to pupils in Grades 4, 5 and 6, helping them develop strong numerical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive Mathematics lessons aligned with international curriculum standards.
• Use practical examples, demonstrations and problem‑solving activities to clarify concepts.
• Prepare lesson plans, homework, quizzes, examinations and other learning resources.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and offer additional support as needed.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning abilities.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that encourages participation and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with academic leadership, fellow teachers and parents to support student development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Mathematics.
• Experience with British or American curricula, preferably at elementary or lower‑middle‑school level (Grades 4‑6).
• Excellent English communication skills with clear pronunciation.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to explain concepts naturally without heavy reliance on textbooks or slides.
• Willingness to relocate to Jeddah or already based there.
