Tenure-Track Faculty Positions - Business School

About the role

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business (OSB) at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is inviting applications for tenure-track academic appointments across three tracks. The school is AACSB and EQUIS accredited, located in Beirut on a campus overlooking the Mediterranean, and offers undergraduate, MBA, Executive MBA and master's programmes.

Tracks and areas of interest

• Business Information and Decision Systems (BIDS): tenure-track positions with priority for Assistant Professor in Business Analytics and Operations Management, welcoming interdisciplinary work connecting analytics and/or operations with business transformation.
• Finance, Accounting and Managerial Economics (FAME): tenure-track positions at Assistant, Associate and Full Professor in Finance and Accounting, with research infrastructure, access to leading financial databases and support for scholarly activities.
• Management, Marketing and Entrepreneurship (MME): tenure-track positions at Assistant, Associate and Full Professor in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Business and Society, Entrepreneurship and Marketing.

Required profile

• A Ph.D. from an AACSB or equivalent accredited institution by the start date of the appointment.
• High-quality scholarly output or potential for independent research leading to peer-reviewed publications.
• Potential for outstanding teaching at undergraduate, graduate and executive levels.

• Required materials: full CV with publications, cover letter, statement of current and prospective research interests, statement of teaching interests and experience (including course outlines and evaluations if available), and a list of three referees.
