About the role

York Press is seeking a motivated Marketing Officer to lead content growth across all digital platforms. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates eager to shape audience acquisition and drive measurable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a scalable organic growth strategy, testing high‑volume content and iterating rapidly.
• Lead content ideation, creating briefs with hooks, narratives and calls‑to‑action aligned with brand positioning.
• Identify, recruit and manage a network of creators, ensuring consistent, high‑quality output.
• Design efficient workflows for high‑volume production and maintain a steady pipeline of experiments.
• Oversee content quality, optimizing storytelling, pacing, visual standards and performance metrics.
• Analyze reach, engagement, retention and conversion data to scale winning formats and refine under‑performing tactics.
• Coordinate multi‑platform distribution, aligning organic efforts with paid media, influencer and affiliate channels.
• Build scalable systems, playbooks and training for internal teams and creators.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in digital marketing, content strategy or social‑media growth.
• Proven ability to scale content and deliver measurable results.
• Strong understanding of social‑media platforms, algorithms and emerging trends.
• Experience working with creators, agencies or content teams is a plus.
