Marketing Automation Specialist

About the role

Liaison is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist to design, execute, and optimise multi‑channel marketing campaigns that drive client engagement and conversion for higher‑education institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, build and deploy campaigns within the Enrollment Marketing Platform, using structured inputs from campaign architects.
• Configure complex workflows, triggers and dynamic content to deliver personalised messages at scale.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to set up tracking, segmentation and data flows.
• Manage integrations between the marketing automation platform and CRM systems such as TargetX, ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct A/B testing, monitor deliverability, open and click‑through rates, and optimise performance.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, work with development teams to resolve bugs and maintain functionality.
• Provide guidance and support to Client Success, Project Management and new campaign architects.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or digital marketing, preferably in higher‑education or B2B agency settings.
• Strong analytical ability to derive insights from campaign data and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with marketing automation platforms.
• Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., TargetX).
• Basic HTML knowledge.
• Familiarity with data integration workflows.
