Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure timely repair of machine breakdowns and maintain production continuity in our factory. The role involves daily start‑up and shutdown of equipment, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Start and shut down generators, air compressors, lighting systems and production machines each shift.
• Operate and shut down chillers when required.
• Check oil, water levels and radiator cleanliness for generators and compressors.
• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance to keep machines running.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and replace defective parts.
• Execute electrical repairs and replace faulty components.
• Modify or fabricate machine parts using workshop tools, including lathe machines.
• Install electrical connections for new equipment (panels, sensors, motors).
• Connect new machines to mixing equipment and suction pipelines.
• Assemble, adjust, inspect machines and conduct weekly checks such as air‑pressure verification.
• Maintain and repair the filtration/treatment plant.
• Inspect and repair Karcher machines, stackers, transpallets and generators.
• Perform building maintenance tasks: painting, plumbing, piping, and tank upkeep.
• Clean chillers and ensure proper operation of water pumps before summer.
• Support IT‑related electrical installations (cameras, DVRs, cabling) and assist external maintenance teams.

Required profile

• Technical degree (BT or TS) in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar maintenance role.
• Basic proficiency in English and Arabic.
