Logistics Manager (Warehouse & Distribution)

About the role

Union Healthcare Group is seeking a Logistics Manager to own end‑to‑end operations, from goods arrival at the warehouse to final delivery, proof of delivery and cash handover, as the company modernises its warehousing and distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound reception and GDP/GSP‑compliant storage for ambient and cold‑chain zones, ensuring quality release and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee daily pick‑and‑pack operations, meeting service‑level cut‑offs with full batch and expiry traceability.
• Plan nationwide routing, supervise the delivery fleet and third‑party transporters, and handle returns and reverse logistics.
• Close each delivery with a validated digital POD, reconcile it to the invoice, and manage collections handed to cashiers daily.
• Address customer complaints end‑to‑end, responding within 48 hours.
• Schedule, train, coach and evaluate warehouse, dispatch and driver teams.
• Control logistics budget, monitor KPIs, drive lean improvements, and ensure audit readiness for MoPH and principals.

Required profile

• 7–10 years experience in logistics, warehousing or distribution, with 3–5 years managing teams; pharmaceutical distribution preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GDP/GSP, cold‑chain handling and MoPH requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with WMS/ERP and route‑planning tools, advanced Excel and analytical abilities, and a proven lean track record.
• Ability to translate SOPs into daily practice, manage cash, collections and financial reconciliation.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, industrial engineering or pharmacy; APICS or Lean Six Sigma a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; French is an asset.
