Lead Electrician

About the role

Watt Echo Energy is seeking a Lead Electrician to join its on‑site team in Al Marj. This full‑time position will drive the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems supporting renewable energy projects and general electrical services.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee electrical installation, repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure system reliability.
• Mentor and guide junior electricians, fostering skill development.
• Coordinate project schedules and resources to meet safety and efficiency standards.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety protocols.

Required profile

• Proficiency in electricity and general electrical work.
• Experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage on‑site projects.
• Understanding of safety standards and best practices.
• Relevant certifications or a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Prior experience with renewable energy projects is a plus.
