Kitchen & Laundry Technician

About the role

The Kitchen & Laundry Technician is responsible for maintaining all kitchen and laundry equipment in accordance with hotel policies and procedures. Reporting to the equipment technician supervisor, the role ensures equipment reliability to meet guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service all kitchen and laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quick turn‑over of equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and be available for emergencies, following hotel policies.
• Operate safely and in an environmentally friendly manner, protecting health and conserving resources.
• Comply with hotel environmental, health, and safety policies.
• Adjust and calibrate thermostatic controls as needed.

Required profile

• Lebanese nationality.
• Certificate in a building trade.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and laundry equipment maintenance.
• Excellent oral and written skills in the local language; good English proficiency.
• Analytical, evaluative, and decision‑making abilities for daily operations and emergencies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access).
• Experience using an Engineering Administration system.
