Junior Technical Engineer (Waste Management)

About the role

Lavajet is seeking a motivated Junior Technical Engineer to support waste‑management projects across the MENA region. Based in Lebanon, you will work closely with the Tender Manager and a dynamic young team, gaining exposure to emerging technologies such as AI while developing your engineering expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal teams and external partners.
• Review and assess technical components of tender documents and RFPs.
• Assist in tender development: write work methodologies, calculate resources, prepare program of work and other deliverables.
• Prepare technical reports for tenders and ongoing projects.
• Support inspections and quality‑control activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to identify and evaluate solutions and technologies.

Required profile

• 1‑5 years of experience in design, construction, operation or supervision of projects; solid waste‑management experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (Master’s welcomed).
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the MENA region and learn new technologies.
