Junior Software Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our growing technology team and work on a real fintech product, including a digital wallet, mobile application, APIs and payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain features for the digital wallet platform.
• Assist in developing backend services and APIs.
• Contribute to mobile and web application development.
• Integrate third‑party APIs under senior guidance.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code and unit/integration tests.
• Participate in testing, debugging, troubleshooting and fixing bugs.
• Use Git and follow the team’s development workflow.
• Take part in code reviews, technical discussions and secure coding practices.
• Collaborate closely with senior engineers, UI/UX designers and other team members.
• Help maintain technical documentation and continuously learn new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Good understanding of programming fundamentals and object‑oriented principles.
• Familiarity with backend, web or mobile development and basic APIs and databases.
• Experience with Git version‑control workflows.
• Basic knowledge of testing and debugging.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, willingness to learn and receive feedback.
• Good communication and teamwork skills in Arabic and English.
