Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Monza SAL, a Lebanese automotive company specializing in premium electric and armored vehicles, is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and improvement of its internal systems, websites, and customer‑facing digital platforms. This full‑time, on‑site position in Beirut will work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to turn business requirements into practical digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining internal software systems, company websites, and digital platforms.
• Develop and improve back‑end features, APIs, database functions, and system integrations.
• Write clean, structured, and well‑documented code.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve software, website, and data‑related issues.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand operational requirements and improve digital workflows.
• Support data management to ensure information remains accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Follow best practices for security, reliability, performance, and version control.
• Coordinate with external software providers and international technology partners when required.
• Continuously evaluate tools and technologies that could improve operations and customer experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, data structures, and application development.
• Practical programming experience with at least one modern language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• Understanding of back‑end web development, APIs, databases, and server‑side applications.
• Familiarity with front‑end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or modern web frameworks.
