Junior Quality Assurance Analyst (Implementation)

About the role

As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst at Aspire Software, you will be the final quality checkpoint for client implementation projects on the Alessa platform. You will work closely with Implementation Specialists, Product, and Engineering to ensure that each deployment meets functional and compliance requirements before it moves to client User Acceptance Testing.

Key responsibilities

• Validate all customer implementations for functional accuracy and completeness prior to release for client UAT.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and QA checklists specific to implementation projects.
• Execute functional, regression, and configuration testing against client requirements and solution design documents.
• Identify, document, and track defects and configuration issues through to resolution.
• Partner with Implementation Specialists, Product, and Engineering to confirm fixes and re‑validate builds.
• Analyze recurring UAT issues and feed findings back into implementation processes to reduce future defects.
• Maintain QA documentation, testing evidence, and sign‑off records for each implementation project.

Required profile

• Experience in software quality assurance or testing, ideally within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies: test planning, test case design, functional and regression testing.
• Ability to read and validate against business/functional requirements and solution design documents.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Proficiency with defect/issue tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Basic SQL skills for data validation.
• Understanding of AML/KYC, financial services, or compliance software is an asset.
