Junior POS Technician – North Lebanon

About the role

The Junior POS Technician supports the preparation, installation and basic maintenance of POS terminals for clients. The role focuses on device configuration, first-level technical support, troubleshooting common issues and ensuring smooth, efficient deployments, working closely with the technical and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, configure and test POS terminals so they are fully functional before deployment.
• Install and set up POS devices at client sites, ensuring proper connectivity and basic configuration.
• Provide first-level support by identifying and resolving common hardware or software issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates and basic repairs on existing terminals.
• Document installations, interventions and issues for follow-up and record-keeping.
• Coordinate with the technical and operations teams for timely deployment.
• Assist senior technicians during complex installations, troubleshooting or system upgrades.

Required profile

• Information technology, MIS or BT degree; 0 to 2 years of experience in the technology field.
• Professional proficiency in the local language and English.
• Basic understanding of POS hardware and software, and knowledge of simple networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN, connectivity).
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly across Lebanon and to work independently on site.
• Ability to troubleshoot basics, follow technical instructions and learn new technologies.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills, positive attitude and reliability.
