Junior Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Financial Controller to join our finance team in Beirut. The role supports day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring data accuracy, performing reconciliations, and assisting with reporting and month‑end close.

Key responsibilities

• Track expenses, payments, invoices and other financial transactions.
• Enter and verify data in the accounting/ERP system for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintain financial files, schedules and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile data across branches and manufacturing plants to ensure alignment.
• Assist with pricing, costing and budgeting activities.
• Review transactions, resolve discrepancies and match accounts payable with accounts receivable.
• Support month‑end closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Provide ad‑hoc accounting and controlling support to the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in accounting, audit or finance.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software or ERP systems, preferably Dolphin.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and analytical abilities.
