Junior Accountant – On‑site (Africa)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our finance team at Twellium Industrial Company Limited. This full‑time, on‑site position supports day‑to‑day accounting operations for our beverage and bakery production facilities in Ghana.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock movements and coordinating with purchasing, manufacturing and sales.
• Update accounts receivable, issue invoices and manage collections.
• Update accounts payable, perform reconciliations and support vendor payments.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements in line with legal and company guidelines.
• Enter financial data into databases to ensure accuracy and timely availability.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants during month‑end and year‑end closings and contribute to other accounting projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of experience as a junior accountant or accounting assistant.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
