Junior Accountant

About the role

Seaways, a fast‑growing freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support its financial operations in Beirut. The role offers the chance to work closely with operations and management while gaining hands‑on experience in accounting within the logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and financial transactions
• Follow up on receivables and payables
• Prepare statements of account and reconcile balances
• Coordinate with operations and management regarding shipment‑related invoices and costs
• Monitor customer and supplier payments
• Assist in preparing financial reports and accounting records
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and accounting documents

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1–2 years of accounting experience (freight forwarding/logistics experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Good communication and follow‑up skills
