IT Specialist

About the role

OHANA Development is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to support and maintain its IT systems and infrastructure in Lebanon. The role covers network and server administration, end-user support, Microsoft 365 and cloud services, cybersecurity, IT asset management and vendor coordination. It reports to the IT Manager at the Abu Dhabi head office, ensuring local systems follow company IT policies and stay efficient, reliable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the network infrastructure (servers, workstations, firewalls, switches, access points) and troubleshoot connectivity, endpoint and system issues
• Manage physical and virtual servers, backups, security and network storage; install and maintain printers, scanners and connected devices
• Provide technical support to employees and install, configure and maintain hardware, operating systems and applications (Windows and macOS)
• Manage Microsoft 365 users and devices via Admin Center and Intune, including password resets, MFA, shared mailboxes, Teams and SharePoint, and OneDrive backups
• Apply security measures such as firewall and antivirus management, support disaster recovery and train staff on phishing and spam awareness
• Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, licenses and configurations, track equipment handovers and prepare IT procurement requests
• Manage CCTV systems, the central phone system or IP telephony, and attendance and door-access devices
• Coordinate with vendors on maintenance and warranties, and communicate IT policies and training to staff

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in IT support and systems administration
• Strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting and organizational skills, able to manage several priorities and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Practical experience with server management, cloud services, network administration and security systems
• IT certifications in networking, cloud systems or helpdesk support are an advantage
