IT Help Desk Technician – Onsite (Beirut)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician to join Electric Power Engineers, LLC in Beirut. The role involves installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing computer systems and networks, providing both on‑site and remote support to employees, including the executive team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine technical support, maintenance, and testing of hardware, software, and network components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures, hardware conflicts, and software issues.
• Assist new hires by configuring equipment and ensuring readiness on their first day.
• Manage inventory of IT equipment, place orders, and track deliveries.
• Document standard operating procedures, policies, and related documentation.
• Provide telephone, email, and remote assistance, and monitor the Service Desk ticket system to prioritize and resolve requests.
• Conduct proactive equipment maintenance and daily floor surveys to identify support needs.
• Communicate with satellite sites to anticipate and address IT requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in an IT support role.
• Strong customer service orientation with patience and professionalism.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical users.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors such as MSPs and internet providers.
