Insurance Sales Manager

About the role

The Insurance Sales Manager leads, mentors, and grows a high‑performing team of insurance sales agents and account executives, driving revenue growth through strategic sales planning, talent acquisition, performance management and client retention across multiple lines of coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and onboard licensed sales agents, and deliver ongoing training programs.
• Provide weekly one‑on‑one coaching, joint sales calls and continuous professional development on coverage products and closing techniques.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, monitor market trends, carrier updates and regulatory changes.
• Assist agents with high‑value account retention, complex renewals and escalated client matters while ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (or equivalent sales experience).
• 3+ years of successful insurance sales experience with a proven track record and at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

Required skills

• Proven ability to motivate, lead and develop a high‑volume sales team.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
