Head of Support Services (Finance, HR, Logistics, IT)

About the role

The Head of Support Services (HoSS) leads the finance, human resources, logistics, procurement, administration and IT functions for DRC in Lebanon. Reporting to the Country Director, the HoSS ensures that all support services operate in line with DRC policies, donor requirements and local regulations while contributing to the development and execution of country strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for finance, HR, logistics, procurement, administration and IT across the country office.
• Lead and develop support managers, managing performance, well‑being and professional growth.
• Build capacity of operational support staff through training, mentoring and regular field visits.
• Ensure compliance with DRC operational handbook, donor contracts and local regulations.
• Support the Country Director and senior management in donor and authority liaison, registration, audit and compliance matters.
• Develop and improve operational approaches, systems and processes to deliver effective and sustainable interventions.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level management experience in humanitarian or development settings.
• Proven track record in organizational development, resource mobilization and strategic planning.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to DRC values, diversity, inclusion and code of conduct.
