Head of Power Department

About the role

We are seeking a visionary leader to head the Power Department of ICC Group, based at our headquarters in Beirut, Lebanon. The role will steer the technical, engineering and commercial direction of a multi‑country portfolio that includes solar and hybrid plants, substations and transmission networks.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the full EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power generation, substations and HV/MV/LV distribution networks, ensuring compliance with international codes.
• Lead technical negotiations with OEMs, international partners and joint‑venture consortia, providing commercial and technical recommendations to senior management.
• Own pricing, cost modelling and bid strategy for power tenders, reviewing BOQs and OEM quotations to protect margins.
• Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 electrical and power engineers, allocating resources across simultaneous projects in several countries.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules and technical performance, travelling to sites as required.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in power engineering and EPC delivery across emerging markets.
• Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate with international partners.
