Head of Power Department

About the role

We are seeking a visionary leader to head the Power Department at ICC Group’s headquarters in Beirut. The role oversees a multi‑country portfolio of power generation, substation and distribution projects, driving technical excellence and commercial success.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full EPC lifecycle for conventional and renewable power plants, substations and HV/MV/LV networks, ensuring compliance with international codes.
• Direct technical negotiations with international partners and OEMs, evaluate generation technologies and advise senior management on optimal solutions.
• Own pricing, cost modelling and bid strategy for power tenders, reviewing BOQs and OEM quotations to protect margins.
• Negotiate joint‑venture and consortium arrangements, assess partner capabilities and define roles.
• Manage and develop a team of ~20 electrical and power engineers, allocate resources across projects and monitor progress, budgets and schedules.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading power‑focused EPC projects across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven track record in tender pricing and cost estimation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of representing the company with clients, partners and government bodies.
• Senior‑level leadership ability to mentor engineers and drive departmental performance.
