Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the accounting and consolidation function for a multi‑entity, multi‑country organization. You will ensure accurate monthly closings, prepare group‑level financial statements, and support internal controls and reporting improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures across all legal entities.
• Oversee the monthly closing process, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and ownership adjustments.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports and KPI dashboards on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Coordinate with business‑unit finance teams to collect and validate reporting packages for group consolidation.
• Act as the finance owner for D365 accounting structures, reporting configurations and consolidation requirements.
• Support internal control enhancements and participate in special finance projects.
• Liaise with external auditors for group‑level audit engagements.

Required profile

• MBA in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA or CA is a plus.
• 7‑10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting or consolidation within a multi‑entity, multi‑country group.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and group reporting standards.
• Proven experience preparing consolidated financial statements and managing intercompany processes.
