Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead audit engagements, assess risk, and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will work closely with the Internal Audit Manager to develop preventive measures and support continuous improvement across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in risk assessments and provide findings to shape preventive actions.
• Define audit objectives, scope, and techniques; allocate tasks to audit team members.
• Supervise auditors to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Prepare audit projects by gathering information, notifying stakeholders, and arranging resources.
• Conduct on‑site audits, collect evidence, evaluate information integrity, and document findings.
• Assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Analyze operational processes and internal controls to identify weaknesses and recommend solutions.
• Present audit findings to line managers, assist in action‑plan development, and follow up on implementation.
• Support additional duties such as fraud investigations and coordination with external auditors.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in internal audit.
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures, methodologies, and standards.
• Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities.
• Ethical mindset and commitment to continuous learning.
