GL SSC Team Lead – Shared Services Finance

About the role

The GL SSC Team Lead will head the General Ledger team within the EMEA Shared Service Center based in Beirut. Reporting to the EMEA Record to Report Manager, you will drive financial process transformation, ensure compliance, and support digitalization initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, train and coach team members, setting clear performance expectations.
• Act as the D365 expert, providing system support, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Identify automation opportunities, lead RPA, Onestream, PowerApps/Power Automate, and PowerBI projects.
• Ensure accurate GL processing, journal posting, balance‑sheet reconciliations, and monthly closing activities.
• Collaborate with audit teams to maintain compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
• Participate in M&A integration, ERP migrations, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting with strong IFRS knowledge.
• 2–3 years of experience in Record‑to‑Report or Shared Services.
• Demonstrated leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and conflict‑resolution skills.
