Full-Time Lecturer for Academic English Sequence

About the role
The Department of English and Creative Arts at the Lebanese American University seeks full‑time lecturers to teach and develop its Academic English Sequence.
Key responsibilities
- Teach academic writing courses such as ENG 009, ENG 101, ENG 102, and ENG 202.
- Coordinate curriculum development and drive pedagogical innovation for the sequence.
- Mentor and advise students while supporting the professional growth of writing instructors.
- Participate in departmental, school, and university service, including committee work and event planning.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in English Language, Rhetoric and Composition, TEFL/TESL, or Academic Writing from a recognized institution.
- Minimum four years of university teaching experience, preferably in Academic English and Writing/Composition.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
