Full-Time Faculty Position – Department of Anesthesiology

About the role
We are seeking a full‑time faculty member for the Department of Anesthesiology to join our academic and clinical team. The successful candidate will split time between delivering high‑quality anesthetic care and advancing the department’s educational and research missions.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical anesthesia services at university‑owned and affiliated hospitals, with a focus on cardiothoracic cases.
- Participate in the department’s academic activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in scholarly work such as research projects, publications, and conference presentations.
- Contribute to curriculum development and training programs.
Required profile
- Board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology or an equivalent body (e.g., European Board, Royal College of Anaesthetists, Arab Board).
- Completed fellowship training in anesthesiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiothoracic anesthesia.
- Strong interest in academic medicine, including teaching and/or research.
