Gnathologist / TMJ & Occlusion Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a technology‑oriented Gnathologist or TMJ & Occlusion specialist to join our team in Lebanon, either as a collaborator or a full‑time employee. The role focuses on advanced digital diagnostics and evidence‑based management of temporomandibular and occlusal disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage TMJ disorders, masticatory muscle dysfunction, bruxism and occlusal problems using digital tools.
• Provide conservative, non‑surgical treatment including splint therapy, therapeutic exercises, manual therapy and pharmacological management.
• Perform advanced diagnostics such as surface electromyography, T‑Scan analysis, mandibular kinesiography, bite‑force testing and interpretation of TMJ MRI/CBCT.

Required profile

• Official postgraduate degree or recognized specialty in Gnathology, Occlusion, Orofacial Pain or related field.
• Legal authorization to practice dentistry in Lebanon.
• Proven clinical track record with documented case portfolio demonstrating diagnostic reasoning and treatment outcomes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DC/TMD protocols and validated questionnaires.
• Surface electromyography (sEMG) and computerized occlusal analysis (T‑Scan).
• Mandibular kinesiography, jaw tracking and bite‑force/pressure‑pain threshold testing.
• Digital intraoral scanning, occlusal records, diagnostic casts and articulator‑based analysis.
• Interpretation of TMJ MRI and CBCT imaging.
• Occlusal splint therapy, bruxism management and botulinum toxin injections for selected cases.
