Full-Time Faculty Member & Chair, Accounting Department

About the role

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Université La Sagesse seeks a qualified full‑time faculty member to serve as Chair of the Department of Accounting. The Chair will provide academic leadership, teach undergraduate and graduate accounting courses, and ensure high‑quality curriculum delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate academic activities of the Accounting Department in collaboration with the Dean and faculty committees.
• Support curriculum development, course planning, scheduling, and program quality for accounting and auditing.
• Teach assigned courses, prepare lectures, case studies, and learning resources, and integrate current standards and professional practices.
• Design, administer, and grade assessments while providing timely feedback to students.
• Offer academic advising, hold regular office hours, and support student career pathways.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university meetings and contribute to recruitment, mentoring, and evaluation processes.

• Strong academic, professional, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to connect accounting theory with practical business and audit applications.
• Experience in curriculum development and coordination of teaching activities.
