Full-Time Faculty – IT Management / MIS

About the role

The Lebanese American University’s Information Technology and Operations Management Department seeks a tenure‑track faculty member to teach and develop programs in Information Technology Management and Management Information Systems. The role combines teaching, research, and curriculum innovation in a multicultural campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses covering IT Management, ERP, Systems Analysis, Digital Transformation, Database Management, Networking, and IT Strategy.
• Lead course development in emerging areas such as digital innovation, IT governance, and enterprise systems.
• Conduct research aligned with the department’s focus on emerging business technologies.
• Enhance curricula to support new programs and specializations.
• Supervise undergraduate projects and graduate theses, providing mentorship.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research and departmental initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in Information Technology Management, Management Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Proven research record with publications in reputable journals.
• Ability to teach courses on ERP (e.g., SAP), IT Strategy, Digital Transformation, and IT Infrastructure.
• Experience with industry partnerships, technology consulting, or project‑based learning is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
