Full-Stack Engineer (AI-Assisted Development)

About the role

Lighting Dev is looking for a Full‑Stack Engineer to build modern web applications while leveraging AI‑assisted coding tools. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring the products are responsive, accessible, secure, and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using React, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP.
• Build, document, and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Model, query, and optimise data in PostgreSQL (including PostGIS and pgvector) and manage caching/queues with Redis.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Docker and Terraform.
• Use Claude Code (or comparable AI coding assistant) daily, crafting precise prompts and reviewing generated code as you would a colleague’s pull request.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into testable, high‑quality code.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement of development practices.

• Proven experience delivering production‑ready web applications.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology stacks.
• Strong collaborative mindset and on‑site presence in Beirut.
• Commitment to code quality, security best practices, and performance optimisation.
