Finishing Foreman

About the role

The Finishing Foreman leads the final phase of construction projects, ensuring a seamless transition from structural completion to client handover. You will coordinate sub‑contractors and internal teams to deliver a high‑quality, snag‑free finish while upholding safety standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous quality inspections of all finishing trades, including plastering, painting, tiling, joinery and flooring.
• Coordinate daily schedules for finishing subcontractors, ensuring material availability and clear work instructions.
• Identify defects early, maintain detailed snag lists and drive swift remedial actions before handover.
• Enforce site health and safety regulations throughout the finishing phase.
• Prepare handover documentation, lead final walkthroughs with site managers and clients, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor material waste and tool inventory to keep the finishing stage within budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role focused on finishing or fit‑outs.
• Proven ability to manage onsite teams, coordinate workflows and meet quality, safety and deadline requirements.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with subcontractors, site managers and clients.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and technical specifications.
