Financial audit for CBM project in Lebanon – Mousawat

About the role

Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is seeking an experienced auditor to conduct a comprehensive financial audit of the Mousawat organization’s implementation of the "Inclusive Rehabilitation and Social Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities" project in the Chouf and Tyre regions of Lebanon.

Key responsibilities

• Audit all funds received and payments made by Mousawat under the project.
• Express an opinion on the project’s financial statements for the periods 2025 (15 Jan – 31 Dec) and 2026 (1 Jan – 31 Aug), and for the entire project duration.
• Prepare and deliver an Audit Report and a Management Letter.
• Ensure the audit is performed in accordance with IFAC standards and relevant ethical guidelines.
• Provide written proof of auditor qualifications as required.

Required profile

• Member of a national or international accounting/auditing body, with IFAC affiliation or commitment to IFAC standards.
• Relevant university degree or professional qualification.
• Minimum six (6) years of professional experience as an auditor or accountant in public audit practice, including managerial experience leading audit teams.
• Proven experience auditing development‑cooperation projects funded by national or international donors.
