Finance & Operations Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The Finance & Operations Manager will lead the company’s operational performance with a primary focus on finance and supply chain management. This senior role ensures production, innovation, and financial processes run efficiently, cost‑effectively, and align with strategic goals and food industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities across departments to ensure smooth production and delivery.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor KPIs to drive productivity, cost control, and profitability.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial reports; analyze data for trends and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with accounting for accurate costing, inventory valuation, and financial compliance.
• Manage procurement, inventory control, logistics, and vendor relationships; negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Optimize supply chain operations to reduce costs, minimize waste, and improve lead times.
• Ensure all processes adhere to local and international food safety regulations (HACCP, ISO, GMP) and support audits.
• Lead, train, and mentor department managers; promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in finance operations management.
• Strong knowledge of financial management, supply chain processes, and R&D operations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and production standards.
• Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills.
