Finance Director – Real Estate Development (Rabat, Morocco)

About the role

A leading international real estate developer seeks an experienced Finance Director to lead the finance function for a landmark development in Rabat. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will shape financial strategy, ensure compliance, and drive performance across the project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Department, covering Accounting, Financial Reporting, AP, AR, General Ledger and Treasury coordination.
• Oversee financial reporting for corporate entities, subsidiaries and joint ventures.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, VAT regulations, statutory requirements and internal financial controls.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Lead external audits and maintain relationships with auditors, banks and investors.
• Monitor cash flow, project profitability and business risks.
• Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and commercial decision‑making.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, controls and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, CA or ACCA.
• 12+ years of finance experience, including 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Strong background in real‑estate development, construction or large‑scale property projects.
• Fluent in French (C2/native) and English.
