About the role
The Institute of Environmental Studies & Research Fellowship is a full‑time, one‑year teaching and research appointment based at the School of Architecture & Design in Beirut. It offers an emerging scholar the chance to conduct independent research on urban planning, environmental sustainability and related regional issues while contributing to the Institute’s academic mission.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate or graduate courses aligned with your expertise.
- Develop and lead a research project that addresses local or regional environmental challenges.
- Participate in the pedagogical activities of the School of Architecture & Design.
- Collaborate with Institute staff and provide logistical support for research activities.
Required profile
- PhD in urban planning, environmental studies, or a closely related discipline.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in the same fields with a proven record of research leading to significant publications.
- Strong commitment to academic teaching and interdisciplinary research.
