Environmental Health and Safety Manager

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to lead our hotel’s EHS and food safety programmes. The role combines compliance management, audit leadership, incident investigation and staff training to ensure a safe, sustainable environment for guests and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and annually review EHS, food safety, and OHSMS manuals, policies and procedures.
• Lead and participate in EHS, HACCP, ISO, sustainability and OHSMS audits, providing guidance on corrective actions.
• Monitor audit results, analyse trends, communicate findings and implement action plans to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Investigate incidents, document root causes and drive preventive measures.
• Assess training needs, create materials and deliver training programmes for hotel staff.
• Audit suppliers and contractors for compliance with EHS and food safety standards.
• Stay updated on local sustainability, health, safety and food safety regulations and adjust internal documents accordingly.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and enforce corrective actions.
• Manage all EHS documentation, including manuals, logs and reports.
• Collaborate with departments on corporate social responsibility initiatives and Rotana Earth programmes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in EHS, HACCP, ISO or OHSMS compliance within a hospitality environment.
• Strong ability to lead a team and deliver high levels of customer service.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement and sustainability.
