Engineering Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the engineering team at Le Vendôme Beirut, a flagship luxury hotel. The role ensures that all maintenance activities are performed efficiently, keeping the hotel’s facilities running at the highest standards of safety and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the engineering team and coordinate daily maintenance tasks.
• Monitor, maintain, and repair hotel equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests to minimise operational disruption.
• Conduct regular inspections and proactively resolve issues.
• Support preventive‑maintenance programmes to maximise equipment reliability.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and engineering regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a culture of safety and service excellence.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of engineering or maintenance experience, including supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Previous experience with an international hotel brand is an advantage.
