Energy Technician

About the role

Daher Foods is seeking an Energy Technician to ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and optimisation of its energy systems and equipment. You will play a key part in supporting energy efficiency initiatives while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on energy‑related equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Monitor system performance, identify operational issues, and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing to guarantee equipment reliability.
• Assist with energy‑efficiency projects and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
• Support installation, commissioning, and start‑up of new equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and contractors to resolve technical problems.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Energy Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or energy‑system environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools, testing equipment, and safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills; experience with a CMMS is an advantage.
