Energy Technician – Energy Systems Maintenance

About the role

The Energy Technician will ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and optimisation of energy systems and equipment at our production facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective tasks, monitor performance, and support energy‑efficiency initiatives while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on energy‑related equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Monitor energy system performance and identify operational issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability.
• Assist in energy‑efficiency projects and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
• Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and emergency maintenance requests.

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Energy Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance or energy systems (preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
