Electrical Technician

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to install, wire, maintain, and troubleshoot the electrical systems that keep our manufacturing facilities operating efficiently. You will work on a variety of power distribution projects, backup power infrastructure, and renewable energy installations.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single‑line diagrams, and schematics.
• Wire, assemble, and modify electrical panels and distribution boards.
• Install and maintain power distribution systems across production and facility areas.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot generators, ATS rooms, and UPS systems.
• Support the maintenance and expansion of solar power installations.
• Diagnose electrical faults and perform repairs with minimal production downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and keep accurate records of work performed.
• Assist with facility setup and new equipment installation in manufacturing zones.
• Follow electrical safety standards and site procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Technical diploma (BT, TS, or LT) in Electrical or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as an electrical technician.
• Reliability, teamwork, and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Understanding of low‑voltage systems, load balancing, cable and breaker sizing.
• Knowledge of grounding, earthing, and protection devices such as MCBs, RCDs, contactors, and relays.
• Familiarity with changeover and synchronization between grid, generator, and solar power sources.
• Proficient use of multimeters, clamp meters, insulation resistance testers, and hand/power tools.
