Electrical Engineer – Control Panels & Generators

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design, installation, testing and commissioning of control panels and diesel/gas generator systems. The role combines hands‑on field work with technical project management to ensure solutions meet international standards and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for control panels and power generators, producing wiring and single‑line diagrams.
• Prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD, EPLAN or similar tools.
• Supervise assembly, installation and commissioning of panels and generator sets on site.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, NEC and NFPA codes, as well as company safety policies.
• Coordinate with mechanical, project and service teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Provide technical support to sales, procurement and after‑sales departments.
• Document project progress, generate reports and maintain technical files.
• Train junior engineers and technicians on procedures and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with control panels and diesel/gas generators.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or French is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to manage multiple projects under pressure.
