Director of Safety & Security

About the role

We are seeking a visionary Director of Safety & Security to lead the safety and security operations of Le Vendôme Beirut, a flagship luxury hotel preparing for its grand reopening. Reporting to senior hotel management, you will protect guests, staff, visitors and assets while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve security, emergency response and crisis‑management procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, fire and security regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, lead incident investigations and oversee business continuity planning.
• Collaborate with hotel departments, local authorities and external partners to maintain a secure operating environment.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Safety & Security team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive safety and security experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, fire life safety, emergency preparedness and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
