Director of Information Technology (IT)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary Director of Information Technology to lead all IT operations for Le Vendôme Beirut, a flagship luxury hotel of Accor. You will be responsible for ensuring that the hotel’s technology infrastructure, applications and services run securely, reliably and efficiently to support an exceptional guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage hotel IT operations including infrastructure, networks, servers, business applications, telecommunications and end‑user support.
• Ensure availability, security and performance of all IT systems and oversee cybersecurity, data protection, backups, disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
• Develop and implement IT strategies, policies and procedures aligned with the hotel’s business objectives.
• Manage technology platforms such as Property Management System (PMS), Point of Sale (POS) and guest internet services.
• Plan, monitor and control the IT budget, technology investments and vendor contracts.
• Lead IT projects, system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and guest experience.
• Recruit, coach and develop the IT team while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 6–10 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2–5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality sector.
• Proven ability to manage complex IT environments in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for information security and data privacy.
