Digital Embroidery Illustrator

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Embroidery Illustrator to transform the Creative Director’s vision into precise, production‑ready embroidery artwork. You will work closely with design, pattern‑making and production teams to ensure that every stitch aligns with the collection’s aesthetic and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Translate creative sketches into accurate digital embroidery designs.
• Create and position embroidery motifs on garment patterns according to approved designs.
• Develop embroidery layouts that respect garment construction, proportions and silhouette.
• Adapt and scale artwork across multiple sizes and pattern pieces.
• Prepare production‑ready embroidery files with exact placement and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with design, pattern‑making and production teams to verify feasibility and quality.
• Revise layouts based on fittings and creative feedback.
• Maintain consistency of embroidery placement across all garments in a collection.
• Organise digital artwork files, manage version control and provide clear technical documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in luxury fashion, haute couture or ready‑to‑wear.
• Strong understanding of garment patterns, embroidery techniques and textile embellishments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret creative sketches accurately.

Required skills

• Preparation of production‑ready digital embroidery files.
• Creation of embroidery layouts using digital design tools.
