Demand Planning Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Demand Planning Officer to join MADI International’s dynamic team. The role focuses on accurate forecasting and inventory planning to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain rolling forecasts by brand, SKU, market and channel, incorporating historical sales, seasonality, marketing campaigns, promotions and trade offers.
• Collaborate with brand managers and sales teams to validate and challenge forecasts, ensuring accountability and translating commercial plans into operational demand.
• Monitor stock levels across warehouses, maintain safety stock and reorder points, and proactively flag out‑of‑stock or overstock risks.
• Coordinate with suppliers to align order quantities with forecasts, plan shipments based on lead times, and manage country‑level replenishments.
• Control inter‑warehouse stock transfers, ensuring they are forecast‑driven and cost‑justified.
• Maintain accurate records in ERP and planning systems, track forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, stock cover and aging, and provide monthly performance insights.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain or inventory planning.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with forecasting tools.
