Cost Controller - Restaurant & Hospitality Advisory

About the role

Loop Management is a consulting company focused on restaurant and hospitality operations, helping clients improve profitability, streamline operations and control costs. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Cost Controller based in Lebanon. The Cost Controller monitors and analyzes food and beverage costs across client operations to support profitability objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cost records, recipes and menu costing
• Prepare cost reports and track variances
• Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to recommend cost-saving measures
• Support menu engineering and pricing decisions
• Validate vendor invoices and assist with budget preparation
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and policies
• Identify inefficiencies and propose data-driven improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Prior experience in cost control, financial analysis or management accounting in hospitality or related industries is preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Lebanon, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Strong financial and accounting skills, including cost analysis and variance reporting
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, financial software and data analysis tools, including large data sets
• Knowledge of restaurant or hospitality operations, including food and beverage costing and inventory practices
• Analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration with operations, culinary and leadership teams
